Sanford Mayville will host a public open house from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 27 at its medical center lobby, located at 42 Sixth Ave. S.E., to celebrate its achievement ranking as one of the top 20 critical access
hospitals in the nation.
The open house – featuring cookies, coffee and lemonade – is open to the community and offers an opportunity to meet the staff and learn more about the hospital services.
The designation was given by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) based on hospitals’ strength in the following areas: inpatient and outpatient market share, population risk, cost, charge, quality, outcomes, patient perspectives and financial stability.
